Rowan Hilty works in the Early Childhood Development research area in the Minnesota office. As an undergraduate, she worked as a lab manager, a writing and study skills tutor, and as a teacher’s assistant for a research methods course. She has also completed internships at the VA Hospital and at Saint Paul Public Schools where she worked on the Racial Equity Team.
Her research interests are primarily related to issues of social inequality in education, and she conducted an honors senior thesis examining how students with marginalized identities perceive authority in higher education. She intends to pursue graduate work in psychology or social work.
