Keiyitho Omonuwa

Senior Research Analyst

Keiyitho Omonuwa is a senior research analyst on the early childhood team. She has a background in public health and theater and enjoys using qualitative research to connect with and amplify the voices of youth and students of color. Prior to joining Child Trends, Keiyitho worked as a program analyst for Urban Alliance and focused on evaluation and data management for their high school underclassmen and alumni programs while also serving as the advisor of their Youth Advisory Council. She also previously worked as a research and evaluation assistant for a consulting firm that specialized in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation. 
 
Keiyitho received her master’s in public health with a concentration in health behavior from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Her graduate research centered on food security among college students and the hunger relief landscape in the Chapel Hill, NC community. Her interests in theater, public health, and equitable evaluation motivate her to use qualitative methods to honor the stories of youth and their families.
