Kylee is a research assistant in the early childhood area. They earned their bachelor’s in psychology and studio art along with a concentration in women’s and gender studies from St. Olaf College. Prior to joining Child Trends, Kylee supported adolescents in accessing nonjudgmental sexual health care with the Minneapolis School Based Clinics. Broadly, Kylee is interested in exploring the ways LGBTQ+ and multiracial communities navigate their sense of identity, belonging, and wellbeing as well as increasing equitable access to trauma-informed health care. They have expertise in providing youth-centered, individualized support and services to low-income and BIPOC communities, and Kylee hopes to continue using this lens in their work with Child Trends.
