Phoebe Harris is a senior research assistant in the early childhood development program area. Phoebe graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Psychological Sciences and a BS in Human Development & Family Studies. Her interest in early childhood development began in her freshman year of school, when she started working at local childcare centers as a teaching assistant. She continued to work in this capacity throughout her time as a student, and later as a behavior interventionist. During her senior year, she interned with Let’s Grow Kids, a state-wide campaign advocating for accessibility to high-quality early childhood programs, where she completed a nationwide policy scan of early childhood systems. Phoebe has experience conducting research in both psychology and education fields, and she is most interested in the importance of early intervention as a means of primary prevention for at-risk children.
