Sage Caballero-Acosta

Research Assistant

Sage Caballero-Acosta is a research assistant in the early childhood program area at Child Trends. Sage graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he majored in psychology and minored in art history as well as gender, woman, & sexuality studies. At the University of Minnesota, Sage conducted qualitative research regarding experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and after the murder of George Floyd. Prior to joining Child Trends, Sage worked at an adolescent mental health facility and in art museum education. His current research interests include development in children on the Autism spectrum through adulthood and the development of cultural values. Sage is passionate about creating research that is accessible outside of academia and has a positive impact on youth.
