Sarah Crowne, PhD, is a senior research scientist in the early childhood research area at Child Trends. Dr. Crowne has more than 15 years of experience in home visiting and early childhood services research. Her research interests include child health, parenting practices, and family violence prevention. She is currently the principal investigator of the evaluation of the Boston Healthy Start Initiative. Previously, Dr. Crowne was an assistant scientist in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. At Johns Hopkins, she worked on the Home Visiting Applied Research Collaborative (HARC), the Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation (MIHOPE) and MIHOPE-Strong Start studies, and New Jersey’s statewide home visiting evaluation.
