The Child Trends Hispanic Institute provides timely and insightful research-based information and guidance to improve outcomes for Latino children. The Hispanic population represents one of the largest, most demographically heterogenous populations in the country, at over 65 million people and one quarter of all U.S. children. The U.S. Census projects that 30 percent of the U.S. child population will be of Hispanic heritage by 2050. In supporting Latino families with children, Child Trends’ interdisciplinary team adopts a strength-based approach to our research that explores the myriad factors that influence their well-being.
