Rachel Rosenberg, PhD, MSW, is a senior research scientist in the child welfare research area. Through applied research, Rachel aims to create a foundation for better services and supports for youth aging out of the foster care system. She has several years of experience in child welfare, working both with older youth in foster care and in child welfare research. Currently, Dr. Rosenberg co-leads an evaluation partnership with the Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative, a program that aims to ensure that all young people leaving care have the support and opportunities they need for a successful transition to adulthood.
