Susan was previously the interim CEO for AHC Inc., one of the largest developers of affordable and mixed-income housing in the Washington-Baltimore metro region. AHC Inc. provides a wide array of educational programs and social services in its community centers to help residents build more stable and successful lives.

Throughout her career, Susan has worked closely with community nonprofits, governments, and private sector leaders throughout the DC Metropolitan Area, building public schools in Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Arlington County, VA; designing sustainable buildings; and serving on nonprofit boards in Montgomery County, MD. Much of her work has focused on building successful organizations and diverse communities that support stable and productive lives for residents across the region.

Susan is founder and president of C2 Change Solutions, which works with government, nonprofit, and corporate clients to drive innovation with data and analytics. Susan has dedicated her career to addressing complex challenges across all sectors, delivering lasting improvements in government revenue, citizen services, land use, and education. As a senior expert in public sector advanced analytics at McKinsey & Company, she helped city, state, and federal governments worldwide develop analytics centers of excellence. Susan co-founded and directed the IRS Office of Compliance Analytics, which led data-driven innovation and eliminated tens of billions of dollars in improper benefit payments and fraud.

She has also led local and national innovation in public education, real estate, and public-private partnerships as a director of Gensler’s Sustainable Design division and director of strategy and operations for the SEED School and SEED Foundation. As the co-founder and COO of EdBuild, Susan was named 2007 Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the New Schools Venture Fund.

Susan is an active community volunteer in education, equity, and local government. She was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Malawi and holds a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from Yale University.
