Holly Nord is a member of the proposal development team who is responsible for independently leading the proposal preparation and submission process. In addition, she collaborates with research, communications, contracts, and finance staff to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of proposals from kickoff to submission. This includes developing work plans and timelines for research staff, leading kickoff meetings to discuss internal deadlines, and reviewing proposal materials to ensure compliance and accuracy. Holly also communicates with external clients to share pre-proposal questions, submit proposal packages, and request feedback upon award announcement. Her other responsibilities include processing proposal development requests, developing strategic internal documents, tracking proposal spending, and leading proposal development orientation for incoming research staff.
Holly graduated from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she studied political science and Chinese, and volunteered at nonprofit organizations in the affordable housing, education, and sustainability sectors. Prior to joining Child Trends in July 2018, she was a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Taiwan.
