Hannah Wodrich is a senior research assistant for Child Trends. In this capacity, she develops and fields surveys, facilitates stakeholder engagement, and manages product dissemination for several projects focused on social-emotional learning, access to early childhood education, and quality improvement rating systems. She is particularly interested in work which leverages family and community voice to better serve children, families, and early childhood educators.

Hannah has particular expertise in bilingual education, disability inclusion, and research translation. Prior to joining Child Trends, Hannah worked as an English teacher in Madrid, Spain, primarily with PreK-3rd grade. She also spent three years as a research assistant in the Infant Cognition Lab at U.C. Davis, where she collected and analyzed eye-tracking data to understand the development of basic cognitive functions and the role that parent-infant interactions play. She graduated from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Scientific and Technical Communications at the University of Minnesota.
