Daniel Jacobson was previously the VP of engineering at The New York Times, where he leads platform and infrastructure teams in support of the company’s digital products. Prior to joining The Times, he was the VP of edge engineering at Netflix, where he led teams that build and operate the technology responsible for delivering Netflix to nearly 200 million members around the globe. Daniel also previously worked in the nonprofit world at NPR, where he was responsible for the teams that delivered NPR content to its readers and listeners on every platform other than the radio, including websites, mobile apps, podcasts, cars, and other digital distribution channels.
