Bringing a wealth of accounting education to the team, Clemence Tassou joined Child Trends as a staff accountant in November 2014. Previously, Clemence served as a volunteer in the finance department of the Black Rock Center for the Arts and staff accountant at Women for Women International. At Child Trends, Clemence prepares invoices and reviews and codes accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports.
Clemence graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. Clemence is a member of the Accounting and Business Association and the National Association of Black Accountants, organizations in which she had been active as a student. She is a recipient of the Dr. Harold Student Academic Award and was consistently on the Dean’s List.
She is fluent in both English and French.
