This report presents an evaluation of South Carolina’s First Steps to School Readiness program. It includes key accomplishments, challenges, and directions for further steps.through examining their 46 counties. Each county description includes profile of children, first step strategies, fiscal information, program profiles, county highlights and looking towards the future. It also includes recommendations in each area reviewed.
