This video highlights several changing trends in dating, cohabitation, marriage, and divorce in the U.S., and why they matter for healthy marriage and relationship education (HMRE) programs. The video draws on findings from our review of relationship trends over the last 25 years, and features perspectives from MAST Center affiliates Dr. Karen Benjamin Guzzo, Director of the Carolina Population Center at UNC-Chapel Hill (and formerly of our partner, the National Center for Family & Marriage Research) and Kendy Cox, Vice President at Public Strategies.
This brief was created by the Marriage Strengthening Research & Dissemination Center, a partnership between Child Trends, the National Center for Family & Marriage Research at Bowling Green State University, and Public Strategies.
