Julie Gilbertsen is a research analyst in the youth development program area. Julie graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of science in human development and minored in inequality studies and policy analysis and management. During her undergraduate years, she was a research assistant for two Cornell Human Development labs, the Child Witness and Cognition Lab and the Purpose and Identity Processes Lab. In these labs, she assisted with various projects relevant to the intersection of psychology and law. Julie’s primary research interests include mental health, juvenile justice, reproductive health, and positive youth development. She is particularly interested in examining these topics within the context of poverty and inequality.
