Liv Reyes

Senior Research Analyst

Liv Reyes is a senior research analyst in the youth development program area. She is committed to engaging with a wide range of community members in research to seek actionable policy and practice changes.

She has particular expertise in Participatory Action Research with projects including bail reform for justice-impacted individuals and families, racial justice strategic planning for philanthropic grants, housing program redesign to better serve Foundational Black Households, and analysis of disproportionate state and interpersonal violence against Black women and girls in Minnesota. While earning her Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota, Liv worked with women who experienced sexual exploitation in order to increase access to criminal expungement. Prior to graduate school, Liv supported South Florida residents and students through domestic and teen dating violence prevention programming.

Liv’s research interests include juvenile justice, sexual and reproductive health, and youth and adolescents’ relationship with the built environment.
