Emily Regan is a senior research communications analyst for Child Trends in the client communications area. Prior to joining Child Trends, she worked as a communications specialist and health educator for the Minnesota Department of Health. She has expertise in communications planning, campaign development, social media management, health promotion, and community and youth-led engagement in the public sector. She’s passionate about tailored communication efforts that can be facilitated by creative projects led by those most impacted. One of the projects she’s most proud of is a collaborative HIV prevention and anti-stigma toolkit that combined input and design from community partners with science-based messages. Emily earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota.
