Andrew Potach is a proposal coordinator and is responsible for leading the proposal preparation and submission process. In addition, he collaborates with research, communications, contracts, and finance staff to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of proposals from kickoff to submission. This includes developing work plans and timelines for research staff, leading kickoff meetings to discuss internal deadlines, and reviewing proposal materials to ensure compliance and accuracy. He also supports the pre-proposal process by tracking interest in opportunities and supporting bid meetings. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Minnesota, and has volunteered with local nonprofit organizations, including Literacy Minnesota and The Minnesota state-level contest of the National History Day Competition. Prior to joining Child Trends, Andrew served as a global forwarding coordinator at a Minnesota-based logistics company.
