Research Communications Assistant

Ana Maria Pavic is a research communications assistant at Child Trends. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College, where she majored in human development and educational studies, with a certificate in public policy and community action. Prior to working at Child Trends, Ana Maria worked as a communications intern with the Connecticut State Department of Education and under Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro. While at Connecticut College, Ana Maria conducted research on various topics such as women’s reproductive rights, child and family social policy, and educational disparities in the United States. She also served as a community partner coordinator at Connecticut College where she supported volunteer efforts at the local food pantry and at other community events. Her areas of interest include education equity, immigration policy, and access to mental health resources.
