The association between father involvement during pregnancy and two maternal behaviors are important to successfully pregnancy and a healthy baby: accessing early prenatal care and reducing the number of cigarettes smoked during pregnancy. This paper also examines the characteristics of fathers highly involved in their partners pregnancy.
