Success Coach

Few existing programs are specifically designed to offer post-reunification assistance to families to help them build on their natural strengths and resilience. One such program is Success Coach, developed by the Catawba County, North Carolina, Department of Social Services and evaluated by Child Trends, with funding from The Duke Endowment. The Success Coach products included on this page offer lessons for others trying to build evidence for a child welfare practice model, detail results from the evaluation, and provide a resource guide (in English and Spanish) that practitioners  can use to help families find the resources they need to be successful.
