Jasmine Stocks is a proposal specialist with Child Trends, working with the research, communications, contracts, and finance staff to ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of proposals from interest to submission. This includes coordinating kickoff meetings, developing work plans for research staff, reviewing proposal materials, and tracking awarded proposals for future reference. In addition, Jasmine communicates with external clients by requesting feedback upon award announcement, submitting proposal packages, and presenting pre-proposal submission questions
Prior to joining Child Trends, Jasmine worked with the nonprofit Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area assisting refugees and asylees resettling in Northern Virginia as a Job Developer and later as the Quality Assurance Coordinator. She also volunteered as an ESL teacher with the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and with the Northern Virginia Community College after receiving a certification in TESOL. She graduated from University of Baltimore with a Master of Public Administration in Global Affairs and Human Security, while interning with the Baltimore City Community College.
