Jasmine Henderson is a project coordinator in the Reproductive Health and Family Formation area. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Arcadia University where she conducted a content analysis of pregnancy images in popular television shows for her senior thesis. Prior to studying sociology, Jasmine completed coursework in early childhood development and worked in several early education centers. As an assistant teacher, she had a knack for connecting with, and creating a sense of belonging for, students who had difficulties building friendships with their peers. Her current areas of interest include transgender youth experiences and unsexed parenting. In her free time, she subscribes to too many podcasts and critiques stand-up specials with other comedy nerds.
