Claire Lowe works in the Early Childhood Development research area in the Minnesota office. She earned her B.A. degree in Psychology and Studio Art from Grinnell College. As an undergraduate, she worked with children with special needs and preschoolers who struggled with emotional and behavioral problems. In addition, she has conducted research on children’s emotion recognition development as well as the predictive validity of juvenile sexual offender recidivism assessment tools. Her current research interests include: early childhood development, the validity of measurement tools, and childhood well-being.
