Anne Partika is a senior research assistant in the early childhood development research area at Child Trends. Anne is particularly interested in research around access to child care, particularly as it relates to equity for diverse populations of children. Her research interests also include implementation of programs that improve the quality of early care and education, the impact of policy on child development and well-being for diverse populations of children, and research communications strategies.
Prior to joining Child Trends, Anne taught English in Slovakia through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. As an undergraduate, she conducted research on teachers’ support of metacognition as a Research Experiences for Undergraduates Intern at the LearnLab, a collaborative research group. She also researched social influences on charitable giving for her senior independent study thesis at the College of Wooster.
