# Child Trends

> Child Trends is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to improving the lives and prospects of children, youth, and their families. For more than four decades it has conducted rigorous research and translated it into actionable evidence for practitioners, policymakers, and the public.

Child Trends' research spans early childhood, child welfare, education, youth development, child and family health, poverty and economic security, reproductive health, and equity. Publications are freely available, and the canonical, citable version of each report lives on its publication page (linked below), with the full-text PDF served from media.childtrends.org.
