"Best Bets" to Promote Social Confidence:
Encourage Participation in School-Related Activities

In a study on social self-efficacy, data from cross-sectional research on 556 predominantly white, suburban high school students showed that participation in school-based social activities may foster adolescents' sense of social self-efficacy (H. Chung & Elias, 1996).
