"Best Bets" for Promoting High School Completion: Programs That Aid Families With a Disabled Parent or Caregiver

Haveman and Wolfe (1995) found that growing up with a disabled head of household predicts a lower likelihood of graduating from high school and number of years of schooling completed, after controlling for background factors.
