In comparison to control group:

- Program participants report significantly fewer convictions and violations of probation (.10 and .06 convictions vs. .27). Impacts are greatest for children of unmarried, low SES mothers.

- Program participants are less likely to spend time in jail (21 percent vs. 24 percent).



In comparison to control group:

- Program participants report fewer convictions for a crime (22 percent vs. 25 percent).

- Program participants show no difference in average number of weeks in jail.
