Participating in mentoring promotes pro-social
behaviors and attitudes. Consecutive evaluations of the ongoing
Across Ages program show that participants who received mentoring (in
addition to other program activities) have significantly more positive
attitudes toward school, the future, the elderly, and helping behaviors.AA1,AA2
Further, participants in BB/BS felt that they communicated better with
their parents and had more emotional support from friends.BBS1
