Employment: Attitudes about Completing School |
|
|
|
Employment
programs may influence academic attitudes and behaviors.
Students who participated in Career Academies, a more intensive
program, were more likely than those in the control group to report that
they were motivated to attend school and that their classmates are highly
engaged in school and work with them on school projects (CA2).
Students in the more intensive programs also increased
substantially the number of academic courses they took (JC, CA4).
