Employment: Participation in Career Development |

Across various types of initiatives and evaluations, youths randomly
assigned to a program were exposed to activities that helped them develop
career awareness and job skills. Career Academy participants were more
likely than a control group to participate in both in-school and
out-of-school career development (CA3). Job Corps youths received
significantly more vocational training than a control group (JC).
