19,000 students in 30 schools | Grades 6-12 | Summary of Available Evaluation Information: Research for Action, a Philadelphia-based research group, has been evaluating the Philadelphia GEAR UP program since its inception in 1999. In addition, a national evaluation of GEAR UP is being conducted by Westat, Inc. Once completed, this five-year evaluation will provide information on the types of students served, the intensity of services, and the influence of certain program components on youth outcomes. | No fee |
