Mission/Goals: The McNeilly Center for Children provides quality child care to families based on their ability to pay.

Notes: McNeilly's Toddler/Preschool Program serves children ages sixteen months to five years old and addresses the social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the children. McNeilly also has school age programs for children ages five to twelve years old. These programs provide before and after school care and expand to an intensive full day program in the summer.

Summary of Available Evaluation Information: The McNeilly Center for Children provides quality child care to families based on their ability to pay. With regard to evaluation, the McNeilly Center for Children assesses all participants in school age programs. Assessments are used to determine children's strengths and weaknesses and goals are set for each child. Teachers use observational methods to document and monitor children's progress. The effectiveness of the programs at McNeilly are also evaluated by the Department of Human Services, the United Way and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). None of these evaluation reports are currently available.
