Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring

Objective: To assess the effect of the program on participants as well as to identify program strengths and weaknesses.

Impact/Outcomes: Youth participants reported increasing skills in public speaking, teamwork, computer and financial skills, problem-solving, and communication. Youth also reported increases in self-control/regulation, self-confidence, a sense of control over the future, and belief in the self as an agent of change. Finally, within social development, youth reported increased community awareness, sense of community, social responsibility and connectedness
or sense of a positive social network.
