Bethlehem Centers serve approximately 40 youth in the after school program, and roughly 165 children and youth through their youth development programs. The child development program serves children from birth to 12 years and the youth development program serves children 12-18. Type of Evaluation: Non-experimental

Summary of Available Evaluation Information: The Bethlehem Centers provide services for children, teens, adults and seniors in Nashville that promote self-reliance and positive life choices. Bethlehem Centers of Nashville does not have a standard evaluation tool to evaluate programs; however they do conduct periodic assessments using S.W.O.T. (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) forms. These forms are completed by program staff, participants and funders to highlight the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of each program. In some cases, Bethlehem programs are evaluated more extensively as is the case with their HIV Prevention Program and their Too Smart To Start Program. A full report of this evaluation is not currently available.
