Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring.

Note: This evaluation is for Colorado and includes the city of Denver.

 

Objective: To examine whether participation in the program changed youth behaviors and attitudes.

Impact/Outcome Findings: Youth showed a decrease in delinquency, while few significant differences were found for the substance abuse measures (it should be noted use rate was already low at pretest). Youth reported improved self-esteem after participating in the program and an increased sense of attachment to an adult other than a parent or relative.
