Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring.
 

Objective: To examine whether participation in the program changed youth behaviors and attitudes.

Impact/Outcome Findings: Results indicated that 46% of youth showed improvement in at least one area of poetry writing. By the end of the spring season, 63% of the youth spent time outside of SCORES reading poems, 100% reported feeling "happy" or "very happy" while exercising, and 93% understood the importance of regular exercise (compared to 80% at the start of the program.
