Mission/Goals: Provide an after-school program for youth in1st through 5th grades and an evening program for teens in 6th through 12th grades. In addition, it provides Summer Day Camp, 21st Century Program, Carver Park Mentoring Program, Youth Resource Center, Juvenile Justice Program, and Independent Living Program.

Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring.

Objective: To monitor outcomes to comply with United Way Services of Greater Cleveland requirements.

 

Impact/Outcomes: The study found that children who attended the program regularly improved their grades and behaviors. For example, 91% of regular participants improved their grade point average; 98% demonstrated positive behaviors in group activities; and 90% demonstrated progress towards becoming self-sufficient and independent.
 

Programs are free of charge except day care.
