Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring.

Objective: The YWCA After-School Program provides children transportation to and from YWCA and East Cleveland Schools, breakfast and snacks, tutoring, structured play, science and art projects, computer access, field trips and full-day camps when school is not in session.


Impact/Outcomes: Results indicate that 93% of participants meet the age-appropriate skill standards in 3 of 5 areas, while 93% of children also complete homework assignments on time. Critical thinking and problem-solving outcomes have not yet been measured.

$17 per day, $372 per month, with 10% off for each additional child
