Mission/Goals: TIMPACT Over The Rhine (OTR) mentors neighborhood youth through employment, education and enrichment programs and develops innovative opportunities to improve their lives and their community.

Notes: Impact ORT has three youth programs. The Eco-Garden Program allows the youth to plan, plant, harvest, and sell the produce they grow in former urban lots.
The Art in the Market Program selects areas of Over-the-Rhine in need of beautification and creates public art projects to celebrate culture and community. The Recycle Kids program educates 8 to 10 year old children about recycling and reusability and employs them in the collection and processing of aluminum cans.

Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring

Objective: To determine whether youth are performing satisfactorily in school and have the support they require at home.

Impact/Outcome Findings: Results indicated that participants were maintaining at least a C average, or equivalent, in their studies. Most youth had the support of at least one parent or sibling to counsel. Several youth demonstrated self-determination skills and had begun to expand their employment possibilities to pursue better income-earning jobs within their communities.
