Type of Evaluation: Outcomes Monitoring.

Objective: To evaluate the influence of the Camp Fire program on youth outcomes.

Impact/Outcomes: Study findings indicate that Camp Fire youth (14-20), 20.9% volunteer once a week, 30.4% volunteer at least once a month and 21.7% volunteer two to four times a year. Roughly 60.7% are able to use their leadership skills often whereas 34.2% report using them sometimes. Camp Fire also builds future leaders. Also, less than 3% of CF youth felt that they will not have a good life in the future. Approximately 95.2% felt that they could make their community a better place.
