Mrs. Ballard works in the Fatherhood & Parenting research area. She has over 25 years of experience working with fathers and families.  She is known as one of the pioneers in fatherhood work alongside her husband.  She has worked in both administrative and practitioner capacities.  While working as a certified family nurse practitioner, Mrs. Ballard developed numerous community, health-based programs and services.
