KERRY DEVOOGHT

Senior Research Analyst
M.S.W., University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Ms. DeVooght works in the Child Welfare research area.   She has experience as a social worker providing direct services to youth in foster care and their families. At Child Trends, Ms. DeVooght is the project manager for a multi-site random assignment evaluation of the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids adoption program, manages the adoption network for the Fostering Connections Resource Center, and plays a lead role in data collection for the State Child Welfare Policy Database.  Her interests include federal and state child welfare policy, permanency for foster youth, and experiences of older youth emancipating from foster care.
