Ms. Wessel works in the Early Childhood Development research area.  Her interests include early childhood education, the effect of poverty on child development, and childhood mental health.  She has experience with several observational tools and assessments as well as with focus groups.  Ms. Wessel hopes to pursue an advanced degree in social work or education.
