Ms. Welti works in the Fertility and Family Structure research area and also assists on projects in the Early Childhood Development area.  She is currently involved in projects related to family structure, reproductive health, non-marital childbearing, fatherhood, and early care and education.  Her interests include child/adolescent development, family structure, poverty, and education and social policy.
