Impacts on Children in Experimental Studies of Welfare-to-Work Programs
Most of the research on policies for families receiving welfare has focused on adult outcomes, such as welfare receipt, employment, earnings, and income. This paper builds on an important development in this research: the launching of a set of rigorous experimental studies focusing simultaneously on impacts on adults and children.
